WebOS Goes Open Source
WebOS it just seems to be that OS that just wont die. HP has once again revived the WebOS project by making it available as Open Source. While this is great news for those die-hard WebOS developers and fans who have been waiting bated breath for something that keeps their WebOS devices relevent, unfortunately it appears only to have partially resuscitated the mobile OS platform. Its going to take a massive effort from developers to completely revive WebOS and encourage other manufacturers to get involved. In a world with Android, iOS and Windows Phone setting the bar already so high (with plenty on money to continue their development) its hard to see WebOS surviving.
